Walking Your Dog Around And Near Happy Donkey Hill

At Happy Donkey Hill we offer enclosed garden areas for dogs outside each cottage and for the more energetic there is a fenced walk around our 36 acres.

We prefer dogs to be on lead since we have stock in the fields, but please ask since we do rotate stock and an area may be available for off the lead. Our fenced track is off the road and secure a few gates need to be opened and closed.

We have picnic benches in our middle field to have a drink and take in the view across the fields to “Castell Gwyniodd” located on our land the remains of this Mott and bailey which defended the Tiefi, was built around 1130.

We encourage responsible dog ownership and as such provide bins for dog waste.

A short drive to the village allows you to start many of the Llandysul trails and shown on the map is a small car park at Coed y Foel where walks No2 and no.6 commence.

Beaches are dog friendly throughout September to March and during the holiday season, March through to September most beaches in Cardigan bay have a dog-friendly section.
